Richard is an expert in geotechnical risk assessment, large-scale landslide investigation, stability assessment and strategic management, engineering geomorphology, rock mechanics with particular respect to slope and tunnel stability and geotechnics for corridor projects.

As a young company in New Zealand, we’re not afraid of new technology and new ways of doing things. In the future I look forward to being a part of developing new ways of understanding site conditions via drones/remote vehicles, 3D imagery, augmented reality– the list goes on!”
Outside of work you will find Richard skiing, biking, boating or fishing. But, most likely you’ll find him standing on the sidelines of his son’s football or hockey games trying hard not to yell too much!
