Julia has been the lead geotechnical consultant for a number of large projects that have collectively included more than 50 million cubic yards of earthwork; hundreds of miles of roadway/utility improvements; public infrastructure, including water tanks, bridges, tunnels, detention basins, retaining walls and infiltration ponds; military base reuse projects; commercial and retail centers; and public buildings, including civic and emergency services structures. She provides technical oversight for geotechnical design, mitigation, and implementation of geotechnical parameters; field recommendations; technical reviews, and project management for master-planned, mixed-use, and residential developments, as well as infrastructure, transportation, energy, and flood control developments.
Julia has extensive construction observation experience during remedial grading/grading, utility installation, pavement construction and rehabilitation, retaining wall construction, and deep foundation construction. She also specializes in stormwater services including preparing and implementing stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), stormwater management plans (SWMP), and Erosion Control Plans (ECP).
“I enjoy being involved with constructing the amazing projects we are so lucky to work on, and supporting the amazing ENGEO team that is working on them. Our multi-disciplined and multi-talented staff love to learn, teach, and grow.”
Outside of work Julia draws, practices photography, and looks for adventures to experience new places and things – she is one curious BE-ing!
