ENGEO is performing a geotechnical exploration for the rehabilitation or replacement of the existing six-lane arterial that crosses over the San Gabriel River on a 334-foot-long, cast-in-place bridge. The existing roadway has three lanes of traffic in each direction with a 2′ center median and 3’6” sidewalk on each side (no shoulder).
The completed project will accommodate six lanes of traffic, a 10′ center median, 4′ shoulders and 4′ foot bike lanes on both sides. Funding for the design and construction will come from the Federal Highway Bridge Program (HBP) and state Regional Surface Transportation Improvements (RSTI) funds.
