Since 2010, ENGEO New Zealand has gone from strength to strength, with a number of new offices opening throughout the country, new services offered and staff numbers reaching over 100 strong. With this steady growth over the past ten years, the opportunity to develop new up and coming leadership has been key to supporting our client’s projects as well as our team’s ongoing career advancement.
We are excited to announce and welcome back to Christchurch from his time in Wellington, Rowan Cook as the new Christchurch Office Leader taking the reins from Don Bruggers. Don has been integral in driving the progress of the South Island regional team since his arrival from California in 2012, and we acknowledge his expertise and commitment to building ENGEO’s reputation in Aotearoa. Don, a Principal Engineer, will continue to work out of the Christchurch office supporting clients and staff.
“These past +8 years in New Zealand have been a pleasure and I am looking forward to my continued role of serving staff and clients countrywide”.
Rowan is an Engineering Geologist who is passionate about working on complex multi-rise structures across New Zealand and working with specialist design teams to provide innovative geotechnical solutions for our clients.
“I love working with a team who share the same values to achieve great things. I have seen ENGEO expand from a company of 10 staff to over 100 staff, from geotechnical residential assessments to large infrastructure projects, and the transformation has been nothing short of amazing. This has only been possible with a team of talented, like-minded individuals with a drive for technical excellence and success. I am truly honoured to lead such a team in Christchurch”.
